Just Bikes to JET Couriers

It was 1999 when I left my sales job for the exciting world of self-employment. With big ideas, loads of business contacts and a garage full of motorbikes, Just Bikes couriers was good to go.

It was hard work but customers liked my honest approach and friendly, anything-to-help attitude and work grew steadily just through recommendations. I soon realised that clients were keen to put more work my way, if only it wasn’t ‘just bikes’, so within a few years I’d invested in a couple of vans and recruited some drivers.

The business has grown and grown and twenty years later we’re a small, dedicated team driving everything from bikes to vans to 7.5 tonne haulage lorries. Now we have finally have a website, we also needed a new name, one that actually described the business properly!

My daughter joined the team in 2018 and – fingers crossed – I’ll be taking a back seat in a few years. Turns out her initials were also the perfect way to update the business.
